After the painful loss in 90+6 min against their group A rival Pakistan ,Nepal played their group stage second match with Bhutan today at Dhaka in Baghbanndhu National stadium. Nepal registered their first win in the tournament with the good margin of 4-0 .
Young lad Sunil Bal has been included in starting eleven today. He proved the decision right with 2 assist and one rebound goal which came from the penalty by Bimal Gharti Magar at 71 min.Nepal scored first goal at 21 min from the corner taken by the Sunil Bal which was headed by Ananta Tamang inside the post.Nepal lead the first half with 1-0 .
Nepal continue their aggressive game in second half and added three more goal. After the foul committed by the Bhutan's Wagdi at 70 min inside the D box.Wagdi got second yellow card of the match and have to left the ground with red card . Bhutan remains with the 10 men for last 20 min . After the rebound goal of sunil bal at 71 min substitute player Bharat Khawas added one more solo goal only after taking 5 min on field in 79 min. At the last 88 min Nepal make it 4-0 with the goal of Niroj Khadka which was again assisted by Sunil Bal. With this good margin win Nepal's hope for semifinal is still alive in the tournament.
Nepal will play their last match of the group stage against host Bangladesh which is do or die match for Nepal.
